Sonos Play:3 All-In-One Multi Room Player

Well, partner the Play:3 with a Sonos ZoneBridge (to connect to your internet router) and you have a single room music player ideal for a smaller room. You can then add additional Play:3 units as required to extend the system and play music in other rooms. For example, if you have 4 rooms, you can order quantity 4 of the Play:3 and a ZoneBridge and you have a 4 room multi-room system ready to go! You can either use 1 or 2 Play:3 units in each room - while 1 unit can play stereo music, you can also buy 2 and put them together for awider stereo sound.

How can I control it?

Control it with your iPod Touch, iPhone or Android device using the free "Sonos Controller" app. With the benefit of a network connection, you can play any song from iTunes, internet, or internet radio. Play:3 is simple to set-up, easy to use and easily expandable into other rooms by simply adding more of them.

How do I connect it?

The Play:3 features a standard Ethernet internet socket but can connect wirelessly to a ZoneBridge when used in conjunction with one to access media on your PC/home network. When connected wirelessly to a ZoneBridge, use the Ethernet socket on the back to add standard internet connectivity to another device.

How does it work?

Sonos works wirelessly using Sonos own SonosNet 2.0 wireless system. This means it shouldn't interfere with your home wireless ethernet network. SonosNet 2.0 works with any mix of ZonePlayers - use several Play:3 with/without other Sonos multi room players. It's also sophisticated enough that you can play a different song in each room - at the same time, or indeed listen to the same song in every room at the same time, in perfect sync.
