Music is no longer confined to physical mediums like CD or LP. Of course, it's been this way for several decades since PCs were first able to store music, yet getting great audio performance from memory stored music (on a PC, hard drive, memory stick, etc) isn't so easy.

Streaming encompasses many different devices. Media PCs are designed to offer stunning sound quality alongside normal PC features, whereas a Media Server
is designed to store and play music and other media (movies, photos, etc) without the intention of using it as a PC.
Music servers are designed to rip (copy), store and play your entire music collection from one controllable device that sits alongside your other hi-fi sources. On the other hand, a NAS drive (network-assisted storage) simply copies and stores your music collection alongside a Network Player (or "network client") that can access and play the music stored on these and other devices.
All solutions are designed to offer hi-fi quality audio when connected to your hi-fi amplifier or music system as a music source. If you are unsure which solution will suit you, please contact us for advice.
