A headshell fits onto the end of a turntable tonearm. Most turntables and most tonearms come with a headshell included. However, providing your tonearm features a detachable headshell, you can upgrade to one of these to obtain even better sound from your vinyl. Please check the dimensions/mounting info before buying to make sure the headshell will fit your tonearm. For the best sound, remember to also use a dedicated phono stage with your turntable.
