Diana Krall 'Live in Paris', a stunning live album, one of Diana Krall's most sought after releases, which sounds stunning on this audiophile mastered double 180g LP release. This was the first ever live concert recording from Diana Krall, recorded at the Paris Olympia Theatre. This release captures this performance in all its sonic glory.

Krall and her band perform some of her most popular numbers, including "East of the Sun (West of the Moon)" and "Devil May Care." The band is joined by special guests John Pisano (acoustic guitar) and Paulinho DaCosta (percussion) for several, including "S’wonderful." This performance also features guest conductor Claus Ogerman, on the upbeat "Let’s Fall in Love" and "I’ve Got You Under My Skin."

Also on this release is a special bonus track - a rendition of Billy Joel’s "Just The Way You Are" featuring Michael Brecker's on tenor sax.

Audiophile Mastered

This release was mastered from the original analog master tapes (rather than several generation copies as with many other releases) and is pressed on high quality 180 gram weight vinyl which has almost no surface noise. As a result, this pressing is arguably the best sounding release of the album ever available. On comparison to the standard CD release, this pressing won hands down as sounding the best. Includes high quality gatefold artwork sleeve and LP labels.

You do need this album

This is really hard to find on vinyl but well worth the effort. The sound is fabulous. Warm, detailed and involving and so different from the CD. Your stereo will love you if you do as those rich enveloping sounds pull you right in.
As and album this is Diana in the zone. Her playing and singing are so on song she is clearly at her peak and the band is really tip- top too. Time will reveal this to be one of the best live jazz albums ever - don't miss out
