Creek Evolution 5350 amplifier (available on 0% finance) almost offers the same reference performance as the Destiny at a lower price - one of the finest and most articulate amplifiers we've heard from Creek. The 5350 features a new bi-polar design that enable it to drive low impedance loudspeakers with modern dynamic music from high resolution sources. It has borrowed technology from both the Evolution 2 and Classic 5350SE and is styled to match the EVOLUTION 2 CD Player and EVOLUTION Tuner.

The Bi-Polar design is a new approach from creek. To enable 2 x 200 Watts into 4 Ohms to be produced from a small case, Creek has developed a massive power supply using a high grade 350 Watt toroidal mains transformer that powers left and right power amp channels separately, plus pre-amp and digital circuits. To keep the power amps operating safely, they are monitored by discrete transistor circuitry to protect against over-current demand, short circuits, over-temperature and DC offsets. Relays mute the input and separate the loudspeaker outputs in case of faults.

The 5350 has a selection of controls on the front panel and can also be controlled using the supplied remote control, which also operates the Evo amplifiers and CD player. Gold plated input and output sockets have been chosen to provide a good connection. The 5350 also includes a high quality internal headphone amplifier. Display brightness is also adjustable.

All things considered, this amplifier offers trickled down performance from the Destiny along with a new Bi-Polar design that offers a stunning amount of power from such a small enclosure. High end performance indeed!
