The Avantgarde Magnum takes Clearaudio’s Avantgarde to a new level, the perfect choice for a vinyl perfectionist, with magnetic bearing and the addition of a huge 70mm thick acrylic platter, the resulting product is a heavy mass turntable with precise speed stability. Two massive 20mm thick acrylic plates sandwich an aluminum spacer to form the base. This stable platform is designed to render interfering resonances inaudible and raise the clarity and overall sonic properties to a new level. The motor is contained in a separate stainless steel housing connected to the platter by Clearaudio’s special joint free silicon belt to further reduce noise interference.
