Feast your eyes upon the Clearaudio Ambient, a special new design which features a magnetic bearing and separate motor housing, conceived to be a design classic. The base is a combination of brushed aluminum and bullet-proof plywood and provides a truly non-resonant stable platform. It is developed using 70 highly compressed layers of wood and resin to produce the bulletproof material chosen, of course, for its sonic properties. This provides structural rigidity that combines durability with an amazing aesthetic quality.

The Ambient’s'silent silicon based belt transmits significantly less noise than the traditional rubber ones and the control arm is made of woven carbon fibre for extra rigidity. The separate motor plinth houses the ClearAudio Synchro power motor and various speed control and LCD backlight. This provides excellent usability offering speed control at the touch of a button. The Clearaudio Ambient is a remarkable blend of engineering and style that we have become accustomed to from Clearaudio, and is poised to set a new benchmark for turntables in the future. Available in standard finish or piano-black lacquer.
