Chord have improved the award winning original Super Shield HDMI cable, now with better audio/video, fully 1.4 compliant, certified high speed and with dedicated ethernet and audio return wiring - available in 1m, 2m or 3m lengths. This cable has been designed to offer a no compromise connection between your AV Receiver, DVD player, Blu Ray Player, 3D LCD/Plasma screen, projector, or anything else that transmits audio and video over HDMI.

Alongside the ethernet and audio return wiring, Chord have also improved the internal wiring - In place of the oxygen free copper conductors used in the original SuperShield, are heavier 26 AWG conductors, silver-plated to improve signal transfer. Insulation is gas foamed polyethylene and a dual layer high frequency effective shield protects the signal cables. 

Chord have also fitted an improved HDMI plug. The Chord SuperShield is now fitted with a die-cast moulded plug that has been engineered for a more secure connection.
