Mastering

This edition is an exact master of the rare original mono album, featuring the original “11 Outlined Epitaphs” insert and an all-analog mastering from the absolute original master tapes. Mono versions of Dylan albums are arguably better than their stereo counterparts, although the choice between mono or stereo is often personal preference. Mono versions generally sound more like punchy rock albums, with their stereo counterparts having the benefit of a wider soundstage. Sundazed has gained an excellent reputation for releasing the best sounding of mono pressings of classic Bob Dylan albums and this release is no exception!
