Product information

Atacama Elite Eco 6.0 represents a new direction for award winning Atacama, a beautifully finished bamboo hardwood hi-fi stand with a stunning curved design and integrated cable management. The word "WOW" really doesn't cover it! Each stand is cut, finished and then polished by hand in the UK.

The bamboo material is actually a carbon treated resin composite. This features significantly better sonic qualities compared to traditional hardwood and veneered supports, with its unique micro growth pore structure offering both vibration absorbing and sound dampening properties.

The rear of each shelf tapers in for easy corner positioning if required and features integrated cable management loops at the rear, ideally designed to keep mains cables together and away from sensitive audio interconnects.

Environmentally Friendly

The "Eco" bit in the name refers to the environmentally friendly credentials of this stand. Bamboo, being a grass, is one of the fastest growing plants on the planet, which when harvested will continue to grow allowing a new crop every 5 to 7 years. Because of this fast renewable growth, bamboo absorbs high levels of CO2.

Due to its fast growth rate and high CO2 absorption, even when you factor in processing, manufacturing and shipping, bamboo remains a Carbon neutral material. It's also animal friendly as the bamboo plant used is not a food source for animals, or humans. Phew!

Customise your stand

The price shown is for the 1 shelf "base module" (shown below with 1 shelf). You then have the option of adding as many further shelves as you want at either 125mm, 175mm or 225mm height (the picture above shows the base with 3 extra shelves).
