The ASTINtrew AT5000 power amplifier (available on 0% finance when you spend over £1000) has been designed to offer true audiophile sound at a competitive price point. The design is a single ended valve design with Schottky diodes and multiple power capacitors offering a large 44 joule capacity per channel in the power supply. Its a fully dual mono design, including 2 x 300VA transformers, giving exceptional sonic speed, dynamics and the low crosstalk. Short signal paths offer low signal degradation and the outcome is a truly engaging audiophile sound with qualities one would expect only to find in higher priced amplifiers.

The AT5000 offers 50W into 8ohms (100W into 4ohms) and is loud enough for most speakers. Bi-amping using 2 AT5000’s is also a cost effective upgrade option. The AT5000 is enclosed in a distinctively designed aluminium case with anodised finishes.

When combined with the AT1000 pre amplifier, the AT5000 makes magic of music with a highly detailed and cohesive sound, while also managing to sound very warm due to the value stage and also a wide soundstage that allows the listener to pick out the location of instruments. ASTINtrew was highly popular at the 2007 Sound and Vision show at Heathrow and for good reason - the AT5000 is a classic in the making.
