The DFF180-43 X2 incorporates four 10" X2 long-throw woofers, taking the bass response down to an incredible 15Hz. At this sort of frequency, you don't so much hear the bass as feel it! At the other end of the frequency spectrum, response extends to 40KHz at 96dB (1w +/-2dB), thanks to the twin X2 rippled dome tweeters. Each pair of 180-43 X2 comes with two PA-300 300 watt amplifiers. The speakers can be wall mounted or, with the addition of a removable base unit, used as floorstanders. The DFF180-43 X2 is ideal for use in high-end installations, where sound quality is paramount, such as mid-field to full-space studio monitoring, for medium to large sized home cinema installations, and for commercial use in bars, restaurants and corporate presentation facilities, including commercial movie theatres. The DFF180-43 X2 is bi-wirable, enabling you to control the woofers and tweeters independently.
