Acoustic Energy Reference speaker stands are designed to perfectly match the Acoustic Energy Reference 1 or Reference 2 speakers. Acoustic Energy's first own design speaker stand in fifteen years and far from just a simple aesthetic match for the Reference speakers, these stands are true performers in their own right. Most stands are either stiff and light, giving a speaker life and "bounce" while sometimes losing out a little in outright bass weight - or mass-heavy, giving solid and powerful bass while sometimes robbing a speaker of some life in the higher frequencies.

The Reference Stand is different, and better. It offers the best of both worlds - relatively mass-light to ensure speakers retain an upbeat and lively nature, but incorporating the MDF/Rubber constrained laminate layer technology of the Reference loudspeakers in its construction. This ensures minimal vibration transmission much like a mass-heavy design - and with a bass performance to match. Included with the stand are our new isolating speaker support pads, offering a perfect performance coupling between speaker and top-plate without need for cabinet-damaging spikes.
